Auxiliary Products | Vallejo – thinners, mediums and cleaners

Vallejo Auxiliary Products optimise your paints and techniques: they improve flow, extend working time, make filters/glazes easier, fix decals and simplify equipment cleaning. Ideal for working with a brush and airbrush with full control.

For airbrush (flow and cleaning)

• Airbrush Thinner (200 ml) – thin, stable coats with an airbrush; also useful with a brush.
• Airbrush Cleaner (200 ml) – safe cleaning of nozzle and needle.

Drying and transparency control

• Glaze Medium – extends working time for glazes and smooth transitions.
• Medium Xpress – lowers intensity on Xpress/inks and creates controlled glazes.
• Metallic Medium – mixed with colour for pearlescent effects.

Decals and acrylic sealing

• Decal Fix (and Softener) – improves adhesion and prevents silvering.
• Permanent varnishes: gloss, matte and satin, to protect and adjust the finish.

Suggested workflow

1. Prime the piece (white/grey/black) according to your colour scheme.
2. Prepare the paint with Airbrush Thinner (airbrush) or Glaze/Xpress Medium (brush).
3. Apply decals with Decal Fix and, if needed, softener.
4. Clean and maintain your equipment with Airbrush Cleaner and brush cleaners.
5. Seal with varnish (matte/satin/gloss) depending on the finish you want.
