How to airbrush ATOM (step by step)

1. Prepare the piece: remove flash, sand gently and clean off the dust.
2. Prime if you need maximum grip (resin-like plastic or 3D prints): Primers | Vallejo.
3. Thin to a "semi-skimmed milk" texture with Transparator or Airbrush Thinner 71161.
4. Work at roughly 12–18 PSI and apply thin, crossed coats.
5. Purge between colours and clean up afterwards with Airbrush Cleaner 71199.

• Final varnishes: Varnish | Vallejo (gloss, satin, matte) or AMMO's Lucky Varnish Ultra-Matte A.MIG-2054.
• Decals: apply a gloss coat and use setting/softening solution to avoid silvering.

Not always: ATOM can be applied without primer, but on resin or 3D prints a primer helps with grip and reveals surface flaws.
