Pigmento New Rust 73118 Pigment FX Vallejo
Vallejo Pigment FX 73118 New Rust is a powder pigment to represent recent rust, orange corrosion and freshly exposed metal. Its fine texture lets you apply it dry, blend it with a brush and create natural transitions over fully dry acrylic, enamel or lacquer paint.
It’s especially suited to edges, dents, chipped paint, screws, plates and rusted scrap. You can use it directly on the surface for a dusty effect, fix it with Vallejo Pigment Binder 26233 or mix it with a medium to create deposits, crusts and heavier build-up.
The result is a livelier tone for spots of fresh corrosion and contrast over old rust. For more realistic effects, combine several pigments from the Pigment FX Vallejo range and work in layers, from the lightest to the darkest tones.
