Pigmento Natural Iron Oxide 73115 Pigment FX Vallejo
Vallejo Pigment FX 73115 Natural Iron Oxide is a powder pigment to represent dark rust, burnt metal and blackened corrosion. Its fine texture lets you apply it dry, blend it with a brush and create natural transitions over fully dry acrylic, enamel or lacquer paint.
It’s especially suited to exhausts, engines, chains, underbodies and heavily worn metals. You can use it directly on the surface for a dusty effect, fix it with Vallejo Pigment Binder 26233 or mix it with a medium to create deposits, crusts and heavier build-up.
The result is a deep tone for shading rust and industrial grime. For more realistic effects, combine several pigments from the Pigment FX Vallejo range and work in layers, from the lightest to the darkest tones.
