Pigmento Brown Iron Oxide 73108 Pigment FX Vallejo
Vallejo Pigment FX 73108 Brown Iron Oxide is a powder pigment to represent brown rust, ferrous earth and warm corrosion deposits. Its fine texture lets you apply it dry, blend it with a brush and create natural transitions over fully dry acrylic, enamel or lacquer paint.
It’s especially suited to abandoned vehicles, tools, scrap, rails and industrial structures. You can use it directly on the surface for a dusty effect, fix it with Vallejo Pigment Binder 26233 or mix it with a medium to create deposits, crusts and heavier build-up.
The result is a natural reddish-brown tone to combine with orange and black rust. For more realistic effects, combine several pigments from the Pigment FX Vallejo range and work in layers, from the lightest to the darkest tones.
