AMMO putty for scale modelling and miniatures
AMMO putty is designed to fill joints, correct imperfections and leave the surface ready for priming and painting. The star option is an acrylic putty in a 20 ml tube, easy to smooth and sand, and paint-ready once dry.What AMMO putty will you find here?
- Arming Putty – Assembly Putty (acrylic): ideal for fine joints, small gaps and mould marks. Clean, sandable finish once dry.
When to use it
- Fuselage/hull joints and unions of plastic or resin parts.
- Microgaps after gluing and small surface cracks.
- Before priming, to get surfaces ready for paint.
Accessories that pair well
Improve the finish and work with precision:- Sponge sandpaper 100, 180 and 280 for removal and fine finishing.
- Files to trim the area before sanding.
- Cutting tools (e.g. a modelling cutter) to adjust fits.
- Masking tape that protects detail around the area to be filled.
- Cutting mat as a stable work base.

How to use it (step by step)
- Dry-fit and adjust with a cutter/files.
- Apply small amounts of putty with a spatula/toothpick only where needed.
- Smooth the surface; let it dry according to thickness.
- Sand from medium to fine grit until the repair blends in; then check with primer.
