Description
Liquid Mask Vallejo 70523: fast masking and crisp edges with no residue
Auxiliary medium designed to mask off areas on models and dioramas while you apply paint layers. It forms a flexible film that protects the basecoat and allows you to work precisely over curves, rivets and small details where tape does not adapt well. Once painting is finished, it peels off in one piece, leaving the masked area clean and sharply defined.
Application

Make sure the base coat is fully cured before masking.

Apply a thin, continuous coat with an old brush, toothpick or silicone applicator (avoid fine natural-hair detail brushes).

Let it dry until it turns translucent. Paint over it with brush or airbrush as usual.

To remove, lift one edge with tweezers or a toothpick and peel gently; if any residue remains, remove it with a soft eraser or cleaning putty.
Compatibility and tips
Suitable over surfaces painted with fully cured acrylics, enamels or lacquers. On delicate or fragile paints, run a tests patch first. Do not leave it on the model for very long periods or under direct heat; peel it off once you finish your painting session. Clean tools immediately with water and soap; if it dries, remove mechanically. Keep the bottle tightly closed to prevent the product from curing inside.
