The Federal Standard 35237 color is widely used in the initial schemes of the F-18 along with FS 36375 and 35237, as well as in the F-14’s more recent tactical scheme in combination with FS 36320 and 36375. This bluish-gray tone is also an excellent choice for other projects, including science fiction themes, mechs and ships.

Its optimized formula allows effective use with both brush and airbrush, providing uniform and precise coverage. The paint, in a 17 mL jar, includes a scale reduction effect to ensure the color looks authentic on scale models. Water-soluble, odorless and non-toxic, the use of an acrylic thinner is recommended for proper thinning.
