Description
Green Earth Vallejo 73111: damp earth, moss and natural patinas
Extra-fine powder pigment designed for green earth, greenish dust and moisture deposits with natural finishes. Its cool greenish tone adds realism to damp, wooded environments and helps unify dust effects with an organic hue. The fine grain allows for glazes and smooth transitions over metal, plastic or resin, and its non-flammable nature makes it safe to use indoors. The 35 ml jar is enough for multiple weathering projects and dries without unwanted shine.
For dry application, place the pigment with a soft brush wherever it would naturally build up by gravity (horizontal surfaces, recesses, tracks and running gear). Blend with a clean brush to soften panels or break up uniform areas. If you want light fixation without losing texture, touch the pigment with a brush dampened in pigment fixer/binder; for extra volume, mix it with binder to obtain a paste and create crusts and build-ups. Compatible with water, acrylics and varnishes; clean tools with water and soap.

Suggested uses: on vehicles operating in temperate and forested theatres it creates dirt with a greenish tint on undersides, chassis and tracks; in riverbank, jungle or swamp dioramas it simulates moss, dried algae and damp earth; in urban and stone scenery it adds greenish patinas to walls, fountains, gutters and shaded areas. Alternate layers with ochres, siennas and blacks, sealing when needed to preserve the stratified weathering effect.
