Description
European Earth Vallejo 73119: temperate soils, tracks and realistic mud
Extra-fine powder pigment designed for medium brown earth, dirt roads and dry/wet mud with natural finishes. Its neutral, slightly cool earth tone fits perfectly in European settings and works as a versatile base for transitions into ochres, siennas and blacks. The fine grain size allows smooth glazes and transitions over metal, plastic or resin, and its non-flammable nature makes it safe to use indoors. The 35 ml jar will last for many weathering projects and dries without unwanted shine.
For dry application, place the pigment with a soft brush wherever dirt would naturally accumulate by gravity (horizontal surfaces, recesses, tracks and running gear). Blend with a clean brush to soften panels or break up uniform finishes. If you want light fixation without losing texture, touch the pigment with a brush dampened in pigment fixer/binder; for more volume, mix with binder to obtain a paste and create crusts, splashes and build-ups. Compatible with water, acrylics and varnishes; clean tools with water and soap.
