Description
Chrome Oxide Green Vallejo 73112: dense moss, moisture and deep green grime
Extra-fine powder pigment designed for dark greenish grime, moss and moisture deposits with natural finishes. Its deep, opaque green tone adds an organic look, ideal for damp, wooded and jungle environments, and helps unify dust effects over light or rusty surfaces. The fine grain allows for glazes and smooth transitions over metal, plastic or resin, and its non-flammable nature makes it safe to use indoors. The 35 ml jar is enough for multiple weathering projects and dries without unwanted shine.
For dry application, place the pigment with a soft brush wherever it would naturally build up by gravity (horizontal surfaces, recesses, tracks and running gear). Blend with a clean brush to soften panels or break up uniform areas. If you want light fixation without losing texture, touch the pigment with a brush dampened in pigment fixer/binder; for extra volume, mix it with binder to obtain a paste and create crusts and build-ups. Compatible with water, acrylics and varnishes; clean tools with water and soap.

Suggested uses: on vehicles operating in temperate, forest or jungle theatres it creates greenish grime on undersides, chassis and tracks; in riverbank, swamp or harbour dioramas it simulates dried algae, moss and damp stains; in urban and stone scenery it adds greenish patinas to walls, fountains, gutters and shaded areas. Alternate layers with ochres, siennas and blacks, sealing when needed to preserve the stratified weathering effect.
