AK Interactive Gun Metal AK483

The Gun Metal shade is useful when you need a darker metal than aluminium or light steel. It works well on mechanical parts, weapons, exhausts, industrial elements and areas that will later receive washes, pigments or weathering effects.

Recommended use

• Dark metallic colour for scale models, miniatures and dioramas.
• Useful for weapons, engines, tools and machinery.
• Can be combined with washes, pigments and dry brushing.
• Apply in thin coats to control shine and coverage.
• Color: Gun Metal.
• Use: brush painting.

For a more durable finish, let the paint dry fully and protect your work with a modelling varnish suited to the result you’re after.
