The Leopard 2A4<\/strong> entered service in the late 1970s and early 1980s, quickly earning recognition as one of the world\u2019s most renowned battle tanks. It brought significant modernization to the German Army (“Bundeswehr”) and replaced the Leopard 1. Its armament includes a 120 mm Rheinmetall L\/55 smoothbore gun.<\/p>\n

Despite its heavy armor, the tank can reach speeds of up to 65 km\/h. Its design ensures excellent performance across various terrains. The widely used Leopard 2A4 features an advanced fire control system and modern materials that enhance its protective capabilities.<\/p>\n

The Leopard 2 achieved notable commercial success in several countries, including the Netherlands, Turkey, Austria, and Greece.<\/p>\n
