Natural Iron Oxide Vallejo 73115: soot, smoke and realistic dark grime effects<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Extra-fine powder pigment designed for soot<\/strong>, blackish dust<\/strong> and smoke\/exhaust deposits<\/strong> with natural finishes. Its matte black tone<\/strong> adds depth<\/strong> and contrast<\/strong> in areas exposed to heat and combustion, and makes it easy to transition into greys<\/strong>, dark browns<\/strong> and rust tones<\/strong>. The fine grain size<\/strong> allows subtle glazes and smooth transitions on metal, plastic or resin, and its non-flammable<\/strong> nature makes it safe for indoor use. The 35 ml jar<\/strong> will last for many weathering<\/strong> projects and dries without unwanted shine.<\/p>\n

For dry application<\/strong>, place the pigment with a soft brush wherever it would naturally settle by gravity (horizontal surfaces, recesses, tracks and running gear). Blend with a clean brush to soften panels<\/strong> or break up uniform areas<\/strong>. If you want light fixation<\/strong> without losing texture, touch the pigment with a brush dampened in pigment fixer\/binder<\/strong>; for more volume<\/strong>, mix it with binder to obtain a paste and create crusts<\/strong>, burnt areas<\/strong> and heavy build-ups<\/strong>.
