It\u2019s the ideal middle ground between <em>X-22 Clear<\/em> (gloss) and <em>XF-86 Flat Clear<\/em> (matt).<\/p>\n<h3>What it\u2019s for<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sealing decals:<\/strong> reduces silvering and locks in the decal film before washes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Levelling the finish:<\/strong> corrects patchy gloss between parts and colours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Protection:<\/strong> creates a durable film that resists handling and light weathering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Airbrush use<\/h3>\n<p>As a starting point, mix <strong>1:1<\/strong> (X-35 : <a href=\"\/en\/paints\/tamiya-x-20a-diluyente-10ml\/\">X-20A<\/a>) for a 0.3 mm nozzle at around <strong>12\u201318 PSI<\/strong>. Spray in <strong>thin, misted coats<\/strong>, allowing it to flash off between passes until you reach the satin level you want. For ultra-fine layers, thin further to <strong>1:1.5\u20131:2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Brush application<\/h3>\n<p>Thin slightly with <a href=\"\/en\/paints\/tamiya-x-20a-diluyente-10ml\/\">X-20A<\/a> and lay it down without overworking the area to avoid brush marks. Work in thin coats and avoid going back over areas that have already started to settle.<\/p>\n<h3>Compatibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Compatible with:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/craftyminis.com\/en\/paints\/\">Tamiya X\/XF ranges<\/a> and other water\/alcohol-based acrylics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not use as thinner for:<\/strong> enamels or lacquers.
